An Avaya Merlin Magix business telephone set (pictured above) represents digital business telephone systems from the late 1990s and early 21st century. Originally manufactured and released under the Lucent Technologies brand, this telephone system had a short life span in production as business telephones were rapidly making the change to server based business telephone systems that were designed to integrate with VOIP technology.
