Setting the Time & Date Avaya Partner ACS

to set the time and date on telephones connected to an Avaya Partner ACS telephone system you will need to access two programming codes of the Partner administration programming procedure.

To Enter the Administration Programming of the Avaya Partner ACS Telephone System it is recommended that the programmer use an Avaya Partner ACS, eighteen or thirty-four button display telephone connected to the telephone system as extension ten or eleven.

Press the Left Intercom Button Twice

Enter the programming code  

to change the date of the Phone Systems

Dial # 101

enter the Current Date

to Change the telephone system time

Enter the telephone system administrative programming mode.

Dial # 103

Enter the Current Time

Press Feature 00 to exit the Programming Mode

 

 

 

Lucent Partner ACS 308 Expansion Module

The major difference between a Lucent Partner ACS 308 Expansion Module and the 308 Expansion  manufactured by Avaya is the logo on the label. 308 expansion modules add three trunk ports and eight telephone extension ports to Avaya or Lucent Partner ACS telephone systems.

Avaya, Lucent and AT&T expansion modules are installed using a two or five slot carrier. Enabling Partner ACS telephone systems to begin at the smallest level and grow in increments to a capacity of 17 telephone lines and 48 telephones.

Partner ACS telephone systems may begin very small with a telephone system installed with just the processor module allowing for three telephone lines and the capacity for eight phones, with Partner ACS 308 systems. The Avaya Partner ACS 509 enables five telephone lines and nine telephones when working with just the telephone system processor.

When working as a stand alone telephone system the feature of Partner ACS are still intact provided that any optional equipment needed for a feature is included in the Installation. Voice Mail systems may be included with the installation of the Avaya Partner ACS P C Voice Mail System. Some system features such as T-1/PRI trunks would never be necessary with a telephone system of this size. Any telephone systems auxiliary external equipment that normally can be connected to an Avaya Partner ACS such as external telephone paging systems, door phones, door openers, loud bells or horns may still be used as all connection points are available on the Partner ACS Processor Module. The System grows from there allowing one 308 expansion module to be added with the use of a two slot carrier and four expansion modules to be added when using a five slot carrier.
